One Major Reason for Biblical Misunderstanding

There is a lot of confusion among serious Bible students about the meaning of many Bible passages. Why is this? Well, I’m sure there are many reasons, but one major one is that most do not actually study the Bible – they only study part of it. You see, what a lot of Christians do is focus entirely on the NT, and they may only ever open to a few select passages in the OT on occasion. This leads to misunderstanding because the New Testament writers were immersed in the language and imagery from the OT. If we want to better understand the NT, we had better get into the habit of studying the OT because that is the source that the NT writers quoted and referenced hundreds upon hundreds of times.

(your quote from above).
YOU really think they called >the MessiYAH “jesus” IN Acts 2-verse 21 Peter who has the keys to the kingdom quotes Joel chapter 2-32, I ask you what “NAME” was that? In Romans chapter 10 verse Saul quotes the same prophet Joel and chapter 2 -32, was that name “jesus”? ……………seriously? seriously?. His name wasn’t “JESUS”!!
